HoneyBaked Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie

FYI: It’s official – I have a new favorite pumpkin pie!
In March?!: Yeah, I know – go figure!
Exposé: Lost in the mysterious depths of my freezer, I had completely forgotten about this pumpkin pie that I had picked up from HoneyBaked last Thanksgiving along with their highly-praised turkey, but with incessantly cold weather lately and an explicit vacancy in the dessert portion of our menu the other night, March seemed like as good a month as any to partake in a little comfort food of the pumpkin variety!
Praise: Right out of the oven, the filling literally melts in your mouth, but that’s not to say that it wasn’t just as good once cooled down, either. A perfect blend of cinnamon and pumpkin results in a pie that’s sweet, but not too sweet, and most certainly stands out from your average, run of the mill pumpkin pie that’s touted every which way come the months of autumn. Seriously, I’ve never tasted a pumpkin pie that’s both this memorable and this good.
Regrets: If I have but one, it’s simply that I probably won’t be able to snag another until Thanksgiving rolls around again, but it definitely makes creating the holiday feast a little easier knowing that I can snag both the turkey and the pie from the same place! I know that another nine months from now, I’ll certainly be thankful for this blessing of a pumpkin pie…

Update: I was at my local HoneyBaked Ham store last week picking up a deli sandwich for lunch and noticed that they actually keep these puppies in the freezer case YEAR ROUND!!!
Feel like a little Pumpkin Pie in July? HoneyBaked has got ya covered (and they’ve also got some pretty good HAM, too!).

Thanks for the tip! After discovering your blog today (and reading every single post on it), I’ve fallen in love with you (don’t tell my husband)! I’m a pumpkin freak and a Disney Geek myself and scour aisles yearround searching for pumpkin flavored anything. I even have an Amazon guide called “So You’d Like to Buy and make Pumpkin Flavored Foods”. I haven’t tried all the stuff on there, but it’s a collection of various pumpkin flavored products I found on Amazon. I would love to do a review for you sometime of pumpkin items I’ve found here in Texas and in my travels. Drop me a line sometime. Thanks for amazing blog! Pumpkin Wishes and Gourd Dreams! (I’m such a dork…)

Thanks, Andrea!
I checked out your own blog and found some promising pumpkin recipes nestled within the archives which I’ll have to try myself one of these days. I’d love to have you do some guest posts here! As you can see, it’s kinda quiet during the off-season unless I just happen to come across a random pumpkin sighting, but I’ll definitely touch base with you later on in the year when pumpkins become more prevalent and see if there’s anything that you’d like to share!

Hi Scott!
I just returned home from Super Target where I found a new item that made me think of your site…Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts! I haven’t tried them warm from the toaster yet, but straight out of the box they’re really good! Now, I’m not a Pop Tart connoisseur but I would have to say these are one of the better flavors I’ve tried. I’d be happy to do a review of them for you though I highly suggest you check them out for yourself! Feel free to email me.
