This week Love Me Some Pumpkin! will be featuring a very special series of guest posts from my family way up north in the icy, blizzard-like tundras of Northern Michigan!

You see, although I’m certainly not a fan of their mountains of snow and in fact, eventually moved 1,500 miles across the country to Florida to escape said chills, what I’m very much so jealous of is their Tim Hortons because the closest one to Florida is about 600 miles away and Tim Hortons beats our crappy Dunkin’ Donuts by about a gazillion to one.  So when I got word that my beloved Tim Hortons has not one, but several pumpkin delicacies featured on their seasonal menus this fall, well, let’s just say I had to call in a few favors…

These people are the ones who answered that call:

Lori (my sister, and de facto Captain of Team Pumpkin North!)

James (my brother-in-law)
He prefers to size his coffee up with a good, old-fashioned staring contest prior to drinking it … don’t question results.

Mom (my, errr, mom – try and keep up here…)
She bakes these delicious pumpkin cookies for me every year, and spoils her dog to the extent that apparently even donuts are a perfectly reasonable doggy treat.

Brandi (my Mom’s dog, as well as mine and Lori’s growing up)
Very fluffy, likes potato chips with dip, has Mom wrapped around her little finger … or whatever the dog equivalent of fingers are, anyways…

Madelyn (my new baby niece, daughter of Lori & James)
She may be the youngest on the team, but don’t let her age fool you … when she’s got her eyes open, they scream a hunger for pumpkin that can only be quenched by some pumpkin-flavored formula and her binky…
